The Gulf of Maine Mapping Portal (GoMMaP) is designed as a single point of access to Gulf of Maine maps and a resource for organizations that would like to contribute geographic data to the portal or add mapping content to a website.

Map Builder - Online tool that allows users to create custom maps by choosing from the 100s of maps and layers provided by the project partners

Web Mapping Capabilities - "How to" documents that that provide guidance for adding mapping content to a website
Open Standards - Internationally accepted open standards are used to connect users with geographic data from many data providers
International Partnership - GoMMaP represents a U.S./Canadian partnership of federal and state agencies, universities, NGOs, and private companies collaborating to integrate and provide access to geographical data

About the GoMMaP Project

Gulf of Maine Spatial Data Framework Project - GoMMaP is a product of a cooperative project funded the Federal Geographic Data Committee and GeoConnections Canada.

GoMMaP is hosted by GoMOOS and was designed and developed by DM Solutions Group and GoMOOS.
