GoMMaP provides users with two applications for exploring maps about the Gulf of Maine. The maps and layers available through these applications are dynamically served by the project partners and others who have implemented web mapping services. Web mapping services makes it possible for a single map to be dynamically created by combining multiple maps or layers from one or more organizations.

View Maps

Use this simple online tool to easily access maps about the Gulf of Maine that are dynamically created by integrating maps made available over the web. The Map Viewer demonstrates the capability to combine maps from multiple organizations by showing a pre-selected set of theme maps.

Demo Applications

Gulf Watch

This new mapping tool uses web mapping services to dynamically combine Gulfwatch data with other organizations' maps. This application allows users to view maps of contaminant concentrations from mussels across the Gulf and time series graphs of the same data.
